Install QuietRefresh

QuietRefresh is live on the Chrome Web Store. Edge and Firefox listings are still in progress.

Add to Chrome (free)

Chrome live

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm.
  3. Pin QuietRefresh from the puzzle-piece menu, open the tab you want refreshed, click the icon, and press Start.

Works in Brave and other Chromium browsers that can install from the Chrome Web Store.

Microsoft Edge sideload for now

Edge Add-ons listing isn't live yet. You can sideload the Chromium build:

Download QuietRefresh 1.1.0 (.zip)

  1. Unzip into a folder you'll keep.
  2. Go to edge://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode (left sidebar or bottom left).
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Pin it from the Extensions menu and press Start on any tab.

Unpacked extensions don't auto-update. To update, download the new zip, replace the folder contents, and click reload on the extensions page.
